We pray. We ask God to give us what we want. And we question Him every time things don't go the way we wanted. But, if we stop to think, we will realize that He gives whatever is apt, whenever it is apt!
He listens patiently while we question Him, for He knows what is right for His children, even if we do not !!!

He Stands In My Way

I did pray,
As I left home for work,
“O Lord!, guard me,
For dangers lurk.”

Guide my path,
Guide my feet,
Towards great victory,
And no defeat.

“Of course, dear  one,
The Good Lord smiled,
I walk with you,
My dearest child.”

I heard Him not,
Began to walk,
And on my way,
Found to my shock!

A boulder great,
Did block my way,
“Why God?”
I shouted in dismay.

To clear my path
To you I pray
Yet this boulder,
Stands in my way!

“You cannot see,
And cannot know,
Why it is,
That I do so.”

For on that road,
My child, you see,
A poisonous snake,
Does wait for thee.”

I heard Him not,
Took a different road,
The seeds of doubt,
Now in me sowed.

Until I reached,
The river shore,
And saw the bridge,
Was there no more.

Now doubt now,
Just plain fury,
And in my rage,
 I said to He.

“What is the use,
Of praying to You,
When You cannot,
See me through.”

Up in Heaven,
The Father smiled,
At the words,
Of His silly child.

I called my boss,
And said to he,
On this day,
Do pardon me.

I cannot come,
To work today,
For God is standing,
In my way!

I reached back home,
And then sat down,
Switched on the television,
With an angry frown.

The first thing on the news,
They showed,
“Snake bite kills man,
On major road.”

A chill then did,
Creep down my spine,
For that fate,
Could have been mine.

The next news item,
Was worse still,
“Fire breaks out,
On Office Hill.”

It was my office,
I saw with dread,
Four missing,
The others dead.

“Just one survived”,
The news did say,
“For he did not go,
To work today.”

I fell to my knees,
Tears in my eyes,
Looked up, high up,
Towards the skies.

I’m sorry Lord,
I doubted You,
When all this time,
It was You.

Who put those barriers,
In my way,
That I may see,
Tomorrow’s day.

“With you I walk”,
Bapu, He said,
“Guard behind,
And guide ahead”.

“And even if,
You go astray,
To lead you back,
I have my way!”

“Now take my hand,
Walk with me,
The future waits,
For us, you see!!!”

I felt His love,
Heard His voice,
And that moment,
Made my choice.

I turned my back,
Upon the night.
Immersed myself,
In His bright, warm light.

Why is it that He who is the Greatest of All, comes down to Earth and walks with us ?
Why does He accept the life of a common man?
The only reason is that we are His children, and He loves us.
Bapu's love, His infinite, unconditional love, is the only possible explanation.

He Who Stands Upon the Brick…

Upon the rock
Stood firm and tall
The One who created
Each and all.

His love divine
Poured from His eyes.
That creator
Of Earth and skies.

His hands fixed firm
Upon his waist,
His smile bestowing
All His Grace.

And for eternity
He will stand,
That statue made
By bhakta’s hand.

For His children
There He stood,
And in His mind
He hoped they would

Hold firm His feet
And rise above.
Forget all sorrow
Drown in love.

Love Him so that
The human race,
Could receive
His Mother’s Grace.

He waited long
And waited more
But few came walking
To His door.

Until He did
Decide one day-
“My children know not
How to pray,”

“Let Me among them
As a normal man,
Walk with them
And show them they can”

And so Vitthal
Upon the brick,
Became the Doctor
For the sick!

Became He Bapu
And walked among
The simple, common
Human throng.

And for His children
He did pray
To His Mother,
Night and day.

 He lifted each
From sad, sad strife
Taught His simple
Way of life.

Husband, Brother
Father, Son
As a man
He became each one!

Not Sage nor Deity
No! Not He!
But a simple man
Like you or me…

His children we,
Are forever blessed!
At His feet
May we always rest.

How beautiful His ways
That He,
Who is Himself
The Almighty

Prays to Vitthal
Upon the brick-
“Heal My children
Who are sick”

“Heal their sorrow
Their lack of love
May they reside
With You above”

 He is truly
Great indeed!
How far He goes
For those in need.

We could not pray,
Our love was dead,
So He prayed
For us instead!

Upon the brick
He will always stand
And as a human
Roam the land.

So that we
His merry fleet
May live forever

In "The Third World War", Bapu has warned us about the impending storm.
HE has told us about the rise of evil, and the most evil one of all.
However, HE has shown us that we, HIS children have nothing to fear,
for HE is always with us.
Evil will never prevail. In the end, Raavan will die and there shall be Ramrajya.

                                               मी अंबज्ञ आहे !

                                                             The Storm

It started with a single drop
That fell upon the ground
A tiny drop that was unseen,
And made almost no sound

The people in their ignorant bliss,
Paid the drop no heed.
So lost were they in revelry,
In apathy, sin and greed.

For they had forgotten their Father’s ways,
No! Had chosen to forget,
And now they would face the demon spawn,
That their own sins did beget.

The demon had begun his march,
his steps upon the Earth
And as he watched the foolish men,
he laughed with evil mirth

his minions sat forth across the land,
To conquer and divide,
The men of different race and skin,
And anything else beside.

he watched with glee as the fire spread,
As the divisions grew,
he marvelled at the hate and strife,
Spread by his fallen crew.

he then sat back, and how he laughed,
For he knew his job was done,
A single drop of blood be spilled,
And the storm would have begun

But unbeknownst to him, for he couldn’t know,
he could never win,
For the Lord’s Son, Bapu had taken birth,
To purge the world of sin.

He called the people close to Him.
That still believed in good.
He reminded them of the One Above,
Taught them all He could.

He told them of the coming storm,
But robbed them of their fear,
He showed them that no harm could come,
To those that held Him dear.

He urged them to stay on the path,
The path of God above,
The path of Truth, the path of Joy,
The path of pure Love.

Many came and many stayed,
And many left His side,
For to follow one, a man like them,
Was far beneath their pride.

To those that stayed, He then explained,
When the clouds would burst,
He made them stronger from within,
So as to weather the worst.

It started with a single drop,
That fell upon the ground,
A drop of blood that was unseen,
And made almost no sound.

Then with an almighty roar,
The storm of blood began,
Cities fell and forests burned,
And red the rivers ran.

The cataclysm shook the Earth,
The people were afraid,
And all the while the demon child,
Triumphed and hurrayed.

he believed that he had broken Man,
Had finally beaten God,
But he was blind and cruel and vain,
And his plan was flawed.

Through the gloom and though the smoke,
There came a ray of light,
A ray of hope, of truth, of peace,
Of Bapu’s Godly might.

The son of God then stepped forth,
His children by His side,
Each wound upon the Earth they healed,
And the fire turned its tide.

The demon spawn then watched in shock,
Watched his minions burn,
As the flames rose higher still,
Until it was his turn.

And he writhed and he suffered
And agony he felt,
As he felt the pain, the hurt,
Of each blow he had dealt.

Then at last he breathed the final
Final evil, wretched breath,
And the wind and birds and soil
Spread joyous tidings of his death.

his plan, so grand, so bold, so vile,
Was turned upon its head,
And while the good and pure thrived,
All evil was dead.

The Son of God (Or God was He?)
Ascended the Earth’s throne,
His children, they were all at peace,
And His pure light bright shone.

Thus it is that each time,
Evil grows upon the Earth,
He comes then to protect His children,
And among us He takes birth.

And so each time a storm of blood,
An evil fire grew,
He changed its course, and cleansed the Earth,
And good rose strong anew.
